English is one of the languages where millions of people in the world are speaking as the official language of a nation. English was introduced by British decades which made Indians to adapt English as the second language various approaches has been developed to teach English language from the school level to higher education level . These article enclose two parts where the first part deals with the description of history of English, role of grammar in English, importance of grammar in English language where grammar plays an important role in English which makes expected guide to speak, read, hear and write.
