Flannery O’ Connor’s short stories is far different from all the other fiction writers. Her stories have a long depth and give an experience of meaning. She also provides the reader with deeper sense of intelligence that he or she looks for in fiction. She talks more about the meaning of the story than the theme of the story. She writes the story in such a way to say something that can’t be said any other way. O Connor had a very sharp eye and ear for the sights and sounds of her native land. The idioms, diction and grammar reveal O’Connor’s masterly use of the regional dialect. O’Connor is also attractive because she has a manageable body of literature. One can easily read her works. Her prose style is yet another reason for becoming a Genius. She can effectively say more in a few sentence than most of us can ineptly say in several pages.
