The article investigates the subject of female bonding in Mahesh Dattani’s play ‘Thirty Days in September’ from the feminist perspective that the bonding between women especially between a mother and a daughter is an effective strategy for woman’s emancipation. The article reveals how the female protagonist, Mala, a victim of male lust, turns into an abnormal personality when lacks in love for her mother in Thirty Days in September. But Mala’s personality is restored after her unification with her mother and her relationship of hatred with the mother is disengaged.
