This paper discusses about the inducing enfants towards Mother Nature in Ruskin bond's The Cherry Tree and The Tree Lover. These two short stories are creating an environmental awareness to the children. Bond stories are acknowledge the efforts to bring the ecocrticism and children literature in a single field. Bond stories are written in a simple and engaging style. This study also discusses about the relationship between nature, children, and grandparents, grand children. The grandparents instruct the ethical values to their grandchildren. They stimulate their grandchildren for planting trees. Bond conveys a message, that everyone must plant a tree for their own.
