One of the productive skills is writing which sometimes seems difficult to acquire to the learners, even for native learners. The most aged skill is writing in assessing students’ performance in almost all levels of education. Because writing has been identified as one of the most essential skills, the world has now become so text oriented. The tertiary levels learners of Bangladesh still face enormous writing problems in English. The present study aims to explore the challenges of writing skills of tertiary levels learners in Bangladesh. The data were collected through a questionnaire survey among tertiary level students from private universities in Bangladesh.
