All languages in optimum growth in our civilized world are committed to uphold the fundamental concept of communicative approach as regards the process of learning of any language. It is not a matter of choice for the language planners to design the communicative approach. In fact, all languages are to get their individual linguistic identity only in relevance to their being communicative in their origin and subsequent development. Communicative code is the criterion to origination of language in its individual stance. Such stance is traceable to combination of ingredients of social culture. Therefore language in its essentials is a cultural product. It is quite natural for the native language learners to learn their native while keeping the pattern of their thinking in its cultural moorings. To think in cultural impulses will be as natural for a native learner as a fish swims in the pond of its birth and growth. Arguably, non-native learners like us in India are rendered helpless in this unenviable academic situation. The foreignness of English as an Indo-European language is in obvious incompatibility with the language of Indian origin. There is no chance for the non-native learners to learn English through natively acquired cultural spectrum of emotional intimacies and native idiom born of social traditions. The question is how to solve this problem of cultural barriers. Presently it is to make an academic suggestion in relevance to improving the presently available learning – teaching setting which is flawed with self contradictions or cross purposes. In this context is the type of explorative research is needed to examine the question whether culture could be brought into acquisitional context in a non-native environment. Keywords: communicative approach, non-native learners, social traditions, cultural barriers etc.
