The present theme of nostalgia in the writings of the young Naïm Kattan in addition to the desire to change one’s identity, find oneself in a new country and live in another society speaking another language. His affinity to his roots is gradually weakened overtime and he starts to dream of another future than the one offered to him by his homeland. But nostalgia is not the only theme found in novels of Naïm Kattan. The author spread their thoughts in the various novels with their crystallize knowledge to fulfill in their desires and urges.
