The present study aims to determine the impact and extent of pricing while planning for investment in Derivative segment in the Capital Market. This study focuses on Navi Mumbai area. The present study has been conducted in Navi Mumbai as it is inhabited by people from various demographic, geographic and economic strata of the society. However, considering price factor and socio-economic preferences as a determinant of the choices investors make towards Capital Market, this study is designed to understand the changing trend in the present scenario. It provides the demographic variation of the investors for making choices in the derivatives segment. The demographic profile of the respondents including, Qualification, Age, Gender, Family Income and Area of Residence in Navi Mumbai have been taken in the present study, after a thorough review of literature.
