This paper aims at exploring and improvising pedagogy at three stages of education to meet the challenges of twenty –first century. The modus operandi of the teacher varies with the level of students. Few innovative techniques include democratization of the classroom, creating a literacy rich environment, inclusive education, use of cartoon shows as a pedagogic tool and e-learning. In democratization of the classroom, teacher acts as a facilitator to mediate the weak students and the first generation learners in the class either by screening a movie or by organizing a role play which portrays the life of downtrodden, weak and unprivileged. This helps in the active participation of the alienated students. A literacy rich environment seeks to create a culture of reading in the classroom so as to address the mind of the child, text and culture. The purpose is to inculcate love for books in the children of today and help them find their identity and self-worth. Cartoon shows can be utilized by the teacher in the technique of story grammar to help the students understand the text better, critically think and focus on the relevant elements of the story. Finally the integrated use of software, computers and multimedia has undoubtedly enhanced the performance of the students.his paper aims at exploring and improvising pedagogy at three stages of education to meet the challenges of twenty –first century.
