"There is no tool for development more effective than the empowerment of women” The contemporary era seems to go identically with these words of Kofi Annan. Women have shown their importance, their power to lead & surpass anyone and their ability to execute perfection in all kinds of responsibilities. They are perfectionists everywhere you look- from the CEO of a leading multinational company to the housewife having the duties to raise her children and head her household. Not only modern era but ancient time has witnessed the contribution of a woman in the uplifting of a society. Woman, having a great, idiosyncratic attitude in and due to some unique traits found only in her by nature are accepted to perform better than man in some particular areas/manners. She cannot be ignored to participate in the development of an impeccable system. The present article will discuss the need of women intellect in the society; actual condition of woman in modern society. The special treatment given to women by government making various policies in her favour, and the way it has been implemented; and responsibilities of a female leader in a different way.
